A life well lived!

Jordyce was a unique woman all around. She was an actor by trade working for much of her career in the Chicago area. She performed in live theater, commercials, and excelled at voice over work. Her artistic talents were many, amazing calligraphy being one of her unique ones. She was a strong advocate for women's equality in the acting business and was active in screen active guilds and associations.

She was fortunate to have had 2 great loves in her life: James Clayson Hamilton and Ralph Valatka. Unfortunately both of whom preceded her in death causing great heartbreak. Ralph left this world only 6 months before her.

Fortunately these loves also brought multiple adult step children who warmed her heart and expanded her family.

She was a rescuer of cats and provider for all kinds of wildlife. Once she and Ralph moved from Chicago to Door County, WI she delighted in watching the wildlife visit their yard at the Shady Nook to feast on the treats she provided.

She is missed by dear friends and family.
