John Rodger Harsha, 54, Park Rapids, MN passed away Monday, January 23, 2023 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.

While John enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Harley, his fondest memories were of his time serving his country as a Combat Medic. He was called “Doc” by his military brothers and took his job of caring for them very seriously. John was also an organ donor. His final wish was to help other recipients get a new lease on life.

John is survived by his wife of almost 20 years, Kimberly Harsha; his children, Megan (Jaques) Lien, Jenna Shepersky, Sean “Fuzzy” Harsha, Issac Bartlett (Heidi Schuller-Kern), Elizabeth Gerhart (Nathan Sagsteun); his more than 8 grandchildren; and 1 brother.

John is preceded in death by his son, Kyle Harsha; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Harsha; and an infant sister.

Fr. Tony Fernando will be officiating. Family and friends are welcome one hour prior for visitation. Inurnment will be held at Camp Ripley at a later date.
