Loving father, brother, uncle, and friend

John Paul Luhman died peacefully at St. Cloud Hospital on September 8, 2021 at the age of 60. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Mary Lou (Iacono) and brother, Jeffrey. He is survived by his children Tucker and Tanner; siblings, Laurie Padgett (Jon), Paul (Chris), Jill Christensen Johnson, Tom (Amy), Christopher (Andrea), and Shawn Matthewman (Val). Sadly, his step-father, Francis Christensen, joined him in eternal life, just hours later. John was a loving and caring father, brother and uncle. John had a witty sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He had many friends in Carver County where he lived most of his life. John enjoyed life, with hobbies that included fishing and hunting. He had many occupations, most recently he was a truck driver. John also served in the US Army from 1980-1983 as a motor transport operator where he earned the Expert Rifle Badge. A memorial service will be held at Waconia Moravian Church on September 15 at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior.
