Age 70

Preceded in passing are his parents, John and Eleanor Donovan. Left to tell the tale are his wife of 33 years, Laura (Sunde) Donovan and children: Sean Donovan, Lauren Donovan, and Stephen Strasser. He also leaves his siblings, Peter Donovan and Martha Donovan, as well as many nieces and nephews.

An international man of mystery, he led a wild and adventurous life, surpassed only by each retelling. He told his best stories while drinking brandy and smoking a good cigar. A well-traveled man, he was proud to have been to all 7 continents, and to have completed the entirety of his bucket list during his life. He had a deep love of fine food, film noir, and his own voice. Charming and eccentric, he’s embarked on a new adventure now, and is profoundly missed.

Per his wishes there will be an actual celebration with music and stories.
