Husband, Dad, Family man and Friend

John was a one of a kind. He was the one man that truly made me laugh. He could light up a room with his sarcasm, and humor. He loved his children; he was the type of dad that got to know all our kid's friends. He loved game night on Saturday nights. He loved football season, especially the Minnesota Vikings. He also loved racing and Nascar, you guess it his favorite driver Dale Earnhardt and yes, Dale Jarret. One of his favorite passions was taking our kids camping, and our trips to Colorado. He loved our dogs, sometimes you wonder if he chose his dog over you, LOL.

He was a good man with flaws, like everyone else, but his love was our children and me. We are going to miss his wakening the kids up at 2am to go on a candy run, and his phone calls just before his bedtime, (not yours, LOL) just to say, "I LOVE YOU"!

John is survived by his wife Vonney of 33+ years.

Per John's wishes we are going to hold a celebration of life. Love for you all to join us sharing stories of your time with John, whether from when he was young boy to a teen, and a family man. Please bring a dish to share. Please do not dress up. John was very much about being comfortable.
