John’s life

John Louis Sommers was born on Oct 10, 1983 to John “Jack” MacFarlane and Kathlene Sommers.

John grew up in Aitkin, MN starting in 1987. He spent many hours helping his dad in the garage learning about motors and vehicles growing up. His interests were cars, snowmobiles, racing, and motorcycles.

He started his business, Johnny’s Garage, 2015 and spent countless hours building it to what it is today with the help and support of many.

He is survived by his mother, Kathlene Sommers, his children Dylan and Daisy Sommers, his brother Lonnie MacFarlane, his sisters Donna (Marcus) Delveux, Lonna (John) Holmes, Jackie (Rick) Owens, nephews Caine and Hunter Owens, niece Gabby Owens, Uncle Tom Buehner, Aunt Gail Hedlund and fiancé Tiffany Johnson. Along with many friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his father John “Jack” MacFarlane along with many aunts and uncles.
