JOHN ILLG OBITUARY

John Joseph Illg, III was born on June 2, 1967 . Johnny passed away on Wednesday October 12, 2022. He was the son of John Joseph Illg, jr., and Cheron McCrea; husband of Caroline Lee Illg , the father of Chasity Dunlevy White ( Cody ), Maryanne Heath, Caitlyn Schwartz (James), Mona Anne Branson (Timothy); grandfather of the late John Turner, Antoinette and Maggie ; and brother of Athena Illg, Lena Illg West, the late Ernest Illg, Darlene Illg, and the late Jeane Davis. He is also survived by a special aunt, , as well as several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 in Greenwood Cemetery.

Johnny loved life , his children and grandchildren , cars and New Orleans Saints football. He had a larger than life laugh and loved to fish, hunt and travel. His contagious smile will be missed by his family and friends .
