life story

A loving woman with a strong and caring soul

Johanna was a very happy-go-lucky person with a heart of gold. She was generous and caring to all that she knew. She fought harder than anyone could, and she gave her all every day.

Johanna Marie Roa

Johanna was born in Fresno, California on June 24, 1986. She lived in Alaska, New Mexico, Nevada, Idaho, Washington, before finally resting in North Dakota. She married the love of her life on June 3, 2017 and they spent the rest of her life together.

She truly lived a life she loved, despite her struggles with her epilepsy. She never let her seizures control her life and chose to live each day to the fullest. She had friends all over and she loved meeting new people. She was one of the most giving individuals that we have ever been blessed to know and she loved her family more than anything. She was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, and friend. She loved her husband Tyson and all of their fur children. She tried her best every day and she was a fighter until she passed on March 4, 2021, in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her mother by her side. She will be forever missed and loved by all those that knew her.
