About Joan

Joan was born in St. Paul Minnesota. She lived in St. Paul until she married her husband Roy (Bill) Anderson in 1955. The couple lived in Highland Park until buying their first home in Como Park. Son Keith Michael arrived in 1964 and son Kevin John in 1970. The family moved in 1987 to Joan's life long home in Roseville.

Joan worked as a secretary for the St. Paul Water Department shortly after graduating from St. Joseph's Academy until her first son was born.

Joan enjoyed bowling, playing cards, gardening, shopping, and was always active in church. Most of all, Joan enjoyed being a wife and mother.

Joan was a long standing member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Como Park. After moving to Roseville, Joan attended St. Odilia Catholic Church in Shoreview.

Joan will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and neighbors.

Joan was preceded in death by her sister Alice Magnussen, mother Gertrude Hable, father John Hable, and son Kevin John Anderson.

Joan is survived by husband Roy "Bill" Anderson, son Keith (Stephanie) Anderson, grandchildren Brandon, Dylan, Auston, Julia, and Grace.
