A kind and caring soul
Joan journeyed peacefully to everlasting life on All Souls Day at the age of 90. A fitting day for a devout Catholic who was guided by her faith throughout life.
Joan will be missed but never forgotten. Joan was a loving, kind and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Joan cherished times spent with family and friends. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, cribbage, mahjong and doing crossword puzzles. Joan excelled in her career at Medtronic where she played a pivotal role in developing the regulatory affairs division. Joan retired from Medtronic after many years of dedicated service to spend winters at the Villages in Florida enjoying "free golf for life” and summers at the family cabin. These cherished retreats were made even more special by the presence of family and friends. The memories created during those times will be forever treasured.
Joan is preceded in death by her parents, husband and baby boy. Joan is survived by her sister and brother, 3 children, six grand children,12 great grand children and special friend Russ.
Joan will be laid to rest along side her husband and baby boy, united in life and in eternity.
