Jerry Lynn Wolfe, 64, of Charleston, South Carolina, and formerly of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, passed away after a heart complication in his home in West Ashley on Sunday, December 21st, 2024.
Born on January 16, 1960, on the family farm near Harrisburg, Jerry was the son of Earl and Lynn Wolfe. He graduated from Annville-Cleona High School, where he was a proud member of the state championship football team and a beloved figure in his small-town community. Jerry began his career as a movie theater projectionist before discovering his passion for automobiles while apprenticing at Stanhly's Body Shop. On February 17, 1993, Jerry married Teresa "Terri" Inabnitte, the love of his life. Shortly thereafter, he earned a bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance from Pennsylvania State University.
Jerry’s professional journey culminated in a successful career as a senior insurance advisor at USAA. Among his many accomplishments, he took great pride in designing and building the family home that became the heart of cherished memories. A man of deep faith and generosity, Jerry actively volunteered with his church, youth organizations, and the Boy Scouts of America.
In his leisure time, Jerry found joy in fishing and spent countless peaceful hours on his back porch overlooking the river while listening to NPR. His warmth and dedication to his family and community left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Jerry is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years, Terri; and their two sons, Jared and Mark. He was preceded in death by his brother Ronald.
