In Memory of Jennifer Jessen (Nelson)

Age 64, of Crosslake, MN left this earth on May 7, 2015 to join the choir of the angels. We will all miss the beautiful voice that brought joy to many. Jenny is preceded in death by parents Nels and Adeline Jessen. Survived by husband, Lyle; daughters, Tristin(Kent) Digre, Stacy(Chad) Stutelberg; sons, Mark(Cole) Nelson, Chris(Ami) Nelson; grandchildren, Tarissa Host, Brandon Host, Jordan Host, Justin Host, Brady Host, Miles Nelson, Morgan Stutelberg, Nolan Stutelberg; sister Laurie(Richard) Jessen; brother Nels (Bernie)Jessen; sister-in-law Karmen Droneck; beloved dachshunds Rocky and Boo Boo and many other relatives and friends.

About Jenny

Jenny had the most beautiful voice that brought joy to everyone around her. She was a skilled piano player and could play anything after hearing it just once. Along with her husband, Lyle, she played in a travelling band and loved playing music.

She spent summers in Crosslake and enjoyed crocheting in her free time. She was well known for the custom golf club covers she made by hand. She spent winters at Lemon Tree Estates in Mission, Texas and enjoyed entertaining the community with live concerts in the rec hall and from their front deck.

Jenny absolutely loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time on the boat and could golf better than most men. She was an awesome cook and baker! She loved many dogs over the years, and could always be found with the Dachshunds by her side.
