Obituary

Jeffrey MacDonald Jordan, age 64, of Hopkins, MN, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2024 surrounded by family. Born in Gallup, New Mexico on December 26, 1959, Jeff was a loving husband and father. He is preceded in death by his mother, Coralie and his father, Norman. Jeff is survived by his wife, Karin; his sister, Tori (Will); his daughter, Annalie; his son, Ian (Ellen); his granddaughter, Mina; his stepdaughter, Kaitlyn; and his stepson, Trevor.

Jeff was born in New Mexico and moved to Minnesota in his teen years. He attended St. Louis Park High School and went on to earn a degree in Criminal Justice at Normandale Community College. He then went on to see a successful career dedicated to mail service operations. Working his way to the role of operations manager at Wells Fargo, Jeff enjoyed managing multiple units within operations, including mail services, proxy services, data maintenance, check replacements, and lost securities. In 2013, Jeff joined the Berkshire Company as a senior consultant for mail and print consulting, a role that he greatly enjoyed.

Above all, Jeff was a loving and dedicated family man. He married his first wife, Trina, in 1987. His life goal was to raise “global citizens,” which he successfully accomplished in raising his daughter, Annalie, and son, Ian. He welcomed all into his home, which became known as the gathering spot for Anna and Ian’s friends as they grew up. In 2021, Jeff married his second wife, Karin, and became a stepfather to Kaitlyn and Trevor. Jeff’s love for Karin was enduring and obvious to everyone he knew. He valued family togetherness and connection more than anything.

Jeff is remembered as a lively man who made everyone feel like family. Per Jeff’s request, no funeral will be held, and a celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
