Jay (James) Aldren Bechard Jr., 51, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Lake Region Healthcare Center in Fergus Falls, MN.

Jay was born September 11, 1972 in Fosston, MN to James & Faye (Anderson) Bechard Sr. He was born a twin to Robert Bechard. He grew up around the Plummer area & graduated from Goodridge High in 1991.

Jay worked for various farmers through high school and after graduation. He worked many odds & end jobs throughout his life and his final job was for Advanced Docks and Lifts out of Battle Lake, MN. Jay loved to fish and he loved to talk. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Jay is survived by his sister Lisa (Clint) Holsapple of Laporte, MN, brothers Kelly Bechard of Superior, WI, and Bob (Patti) Bechard of Adrian, ND. Nieces and Nephews-Matthew (Amanda) Holsapple of Pillager, MN, Tayler (Shane Holmin) Holsapple of Brainerd, MN, Logan (Amber) Holsapple of Williston, ND, Hunter (Dustyne) Robertson of Deerwood, MN, and Tiffany Bechard of Fergus Falls, MN, along with several great nieces and nephews.

Jay is preceded in death by his parents James and Faye Bechard, Sr., his sister Michelle Jones, and his brother in law AlRay Jones.

Memorial Services for Jay will be held in the spring at the Bagley City Cemetery.
