About Jason

Jason Michael Lee, age 51, passed away on May 27, 2026, at M Health Fairview Masonic Cancer Clinic in Minneapolis, Minnesota, after a sudden and aggressive battle with stage 4 lung cancer.

Jason’s passing came far too soon and has left an immeasurable emptiness in the lives of those who loved him. He was known not only for his humor and quiet strength, but for the way he showed up for the people around him—steadfast, generous, and deeply loyal, even when it came at a cost to himself.

Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, C. Curtis Lee and Marion Lee; his mother, Lori Buschkowsky; and others who welcomed him home.

He is survived by his children, Dominic Scaiano, Tyler Lee, Rhianna Hadler, and Andrew Lee; and his beloved grandchildren, Ava, Nova, Leo, Gray, and Charlie Jr.

Those who knew Jason will remember his ability to lighten even the heaviest moments and the steady presence he brought to the lives of his family and friends. He dedicated twenty-five years of his life as a Brake Press Operator at AeroFab Inc., where he earned the respect and affection of his coworkers through hard work, humility, and consistency.

Outside of work, Jason found joy in life's simple but meaningful moments—watching sports, sitting around campfires, spending time outdoors, sharing a cold drink, and, most of all, being with his family. His faith was quiet but genuine, lived out through church, his men's group, and the way he treated others—with patience, humility, kindness, and care.

Jason was taken from us far too suddenly. He passed peacefully and without pain, surrounded by his four children in his final moments.

His legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren, extended family, friends, coworkers, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be missed beyond words, remembered with deep love, and felt in every story shared, every laugh recalled, and every life he touched.

A private Celebration of Life will be held on June 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Transform Church in Andover, Minnesota, followed by a gathering at SteveO’s in Crystal beginning at 1:00 p.m.
