Janice Gail Kester

Janice passed away peacefully after a life filled with love, adventure, and meaningful connections.

She grew up in Ottumwa, Iowa, where she met the love of her life, Ronald Kester. The two shared a deep bond and built a life together rooted in companionship, travel, and devotion to family and friends. Ronald preceded her in death on July 9, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Janice and Ronald shared a passion for aviation and were proud owners of two airplanes, which supported their love of travel and exploration. Janice especially cherished seeing new places, meeting new people, and forming lasting friendships wherever she went. Along the way, she created memories that spanned many miles and touched many lives.

She had an enormous love for her Shih Tzu dogs, who were a constant source of joy and comfort to her. Her gentle heart, warmth, and loyalty were evident in the way she cared for both people and animals.

In her final days, Janice was surrounded by love and friendship in Hastings, Minnesota, where she spent her time with her best friend, Julia Campbell. Janice will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her kindness, and the deep connections she made throughout her life.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, and unforgettable memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.
