Janey Peters, 70, of Bemidji, MN, died Saturday, September 30, 2023 at her home in Bemidji, MN.

Janey Marie was born June 17, 1953 in Bemidji, MN, the daughter of Matt and Marie (Maxwell) Schummer. She enjoyed fishing, especially Rainbow Trout, gardening, canning the vegetables she raised, especially caring for her flower beds and making the yard beautiful. She loved caring for and spending time with her grandchilddren.

She is survived by her, daughter Tracey, son Gary (Stephanie), grandchildren Logan and Dalton. She is also survived by her brother Ronald Schummer, sister Sharon Massey, and sister-in-law Anne Schummer.

Janey was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Gary.
