Forever in our hearts

Janet Lee Phares (b. March 28, 1939) went to her Heavenly home on April 1, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, celebrated for her warmth, joy, and boundless love. She was deeply devoted to her family, always present and supportive, representing both strength and creativity.

Janet’s kindness was extraordinary—she always went the extra mile to bring happiness and comfort to others, whether it was playing Santa at Christmas, offering a listening ear or giving the most heartfelt hugs just when they were needed.

Her passions were as vibrant as her personality: she adored the Dallas Cowboys, steak dinners, Halloween, reading a good book and the arts. Her radiant smile and infectious laughter had a way of lighting up every room.

While her absence creates a void that is profoundly felt, her legacy of love, joy and positivity continues to inspire. She will be forever missed and her memory cherished by all.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life on April 26, 2025.
