Janet was born June 18, 1943, to Harold and Loretta Aas. She was the second of four children raised in North Minneapolis. She attended Ascension School and later North High School where she met her husband Richard "Dick" Knight. They were married on August 3, 1963, and together for 61 years. They raised three children, Scott, Randy and Jenny in Brooklyn Center, MN. Janet work various jobs over her lifetime and enjoyed her grandchildren, antiques, and shoe shopping. She is survived by her husband Dick, son Scott Knight (Betsy Dobson), daughter Jenny (Chris) Hansen, grandchildren Dylan Knight, Bailey Knight (Aaron Dorvinen), Ashley Knight, Peter Hansen, Jacob Hansen, and great grandson Kaden Knight. She is preceded in death by son Randy Knight and grandson Justin Knight. A memorial is planned October 12 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 920 Third Street, Hudson, WI, with visitation at 10 am and service at 11 am. A private inurnment is planned for the family.
