Jamie Louise McDermeit (Miller)

About Jamie

Age 62 of Bloomington, passed away on 2/4/2021 of natural causes. Preceded in death by parents Shirley Miller, James D. Miller and sister Lynette O'Connor. Jamie was married to her high school sweetheart, Tim, for almost 38 years. Part of her heart went with him when he died 14 months ago. She is survived by her dear sons Nick, (Amber,) grandson Hunter Alexander; Dustin; Sean, (Kassie,) granddaughter Zoe Lynn. Jamie was devoted to her family and treasured every moment she was able to be with them, especially her adorable grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Randine Petersen, nieces, nephews and her extended family. Jamie was a workers compensation adjuster, dedicated to compas-sionate service for the injured people she assisted. We will remember her affection for her dogs and cats, butterflies, birds, gardens and the North Shore. (Published in the Star Tribune on February 21, 2021)
