About Jim

James John Buscher of Lake George MN was called home January 5th 2023 at the young age of 61.

James, known as Jim, was born May 18th 1962 in AppleValley, MN. He was the youngest of John and Marion Buscher's three children, Deborah (Debbie) being the oldest and Thomas (Tom).

Jim always had a smile on his face that was contagious. He was charismatic, a trait he passed to his son Charles (Charlie). Jim was the type of person who could fit in with anyone. Everyone gravitated towards him. He gave everyone nicknames, hardly ever referring to someone by their given name.

Jim loved the outdoors and riding dirt bike. Camping, hiking, and fishing were passions he passed to his daughter Abigail (Abbie) a love of everything nature. Along with his love of dogs, there very rarely was a footprint he left that didn't have a paw print beside it.

Building a dirt bike track with his son and racing bikes with Charlie and his friends was one of his favorite memories. Trumping the memories of actually racing and winning trophies, Jim loved teaching Charlie everything about bikes that he knew and cheering loudly above everyone else at Charlie's races.

Among the jobs Jim worked, Kahlstorf Lumber Mill was by far his favorite. Working outside with coworkers who became friends and a boss who became family.

He left lasting impressions on those who were lucky enough to know him. He also left a hole in the hearts of those who loved him when he left this earth.

Jim leaves behind his son Charlie Buscher (Mikaela) and his daughter Abbie Cook (Travis) and his granddaughter Hailey Lou Cook. Along with his sister Debbie, brother Tom and his mother Marion.

He joins his father John.
