We are sad to announce the passing of Jim "James Finkbeiner", 79 of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Passed away on June 17, 2024, with a long battle with FTD Dementia.

He was born on November 30, 1944, in Wayland, Michigan. Jim is survived by his Wife Jo Finkbeiner, and Daughter, Jenny Finkbeiner. He was preceded in death by his father Carl Finkbeiner, and Mother Charlotte Finkbeiner.

He had a fulfilling career at a GN Resound Hearing Aid Company that moved him from the San Francisco Bay Area in California to Minnesota in 2002 before retiring in 2008.

Outside of work, Jim found joy in diving into history books and watching the action movies. His passion for learning and understanding the past was evident in all aspects of his life.

Jim was a graduate of Santa Clara High School and continued to cherish the friendship he made during those formative years. His dedication to his work and his hobbies was truly admirable.

Per Jim's wishes, there will be no service or visitation. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association FTD Dementia in his memory. Your support will help in the research against Frontotemporal dementia.

Jim will be deeply missed by his Wife, Daughter, and friends, and all who knew him. May his kind and caring spirit live on in our memories and hearts forever.
