Jimmy was born Jan 7, 1948 in Sweetwater, Tennessee to Samuel "Lucky" Vinson and Mary E. Smith Vinson.

As a child, his family moved to South Carolina, where his mother remarried to the man who would raise him as "Daddy", Dennis Ray Bryant.

Jim traveled the country as a welder, experiencing life on the open road. He was married three times.

In addition to his parents, Jim is predeceased by siblings Homer, Opal, and Hubert Seymour, Verna Lou, Jean, his twin sister Mary Helen Vinson, Charlie Bryant and Renee Smith.

He is survived by his youngest sister Marianne Bryant (Patrick) Price, children James " Matt" Fulmer and Melinda "Missy" Fulmer, James Raymond "Bubba" and Barbara Vinson, his grandchildren, Lily and Luke Peterson and Kalina and Karina Albert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will hold a Memorial of Remembrance on Jan 7, 2025, which would have been Jim's 77th birthday.

Cremation is being handled by JP Holley Funeral Home, Columbia, SC.
