Loving husband, father, and grandfather

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce that our beloved husband, father, and “Paw Paw,” Henry “Gray” Caton, Jr has passed away at the age of 60 on November 23rd, 2022.

Gray filled our family’s lives with joy, laughter, wisdom, and love for over 24 years.

Born to Henry Caton, Sr. and Mable Caton on May 20th, 1962, Gray was an analytical mind from an early age and grew to be a leader in his professional life. He loved watching football, listening to old school rock and roll, playing guitar, and music trivia.

He is preceded in death by his father, Henry. He is survived by his devoted wife, Helen “Cissi” Caton, his mother, Mable, his children, Douglas McGary and Dyanna McGary, and his grandchildren, Halle, Harrison, and Hunter.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at the Gardendale Civic Center on Friday, December 2nd, 2022. The family will receive friends from 1:00-4:00pm.
