Harlan Milton Tveitbakk peacefully passed at the age of 79 on January 12, 2023, at

Fairview Southdale hospital in Edina, Minnnesota.

Harlan was born on February 9, 1943, to Halvor and Edith (Bye) Tveitbakk in Thief River

Falls, Minnesota. Harlan grew up in Thief River Falls where he attended school. He then

moved to Minneapolis where he met and married Marie Daniels. The couple made their

home in Bloomington, Minnesota where they were blessed with 3 children: Orvin, Christine,

and Laura. Harlan's biggest hobby was collecting and restoring antique cars and being an

active member of the Minnesota Street Rod Association. He retired from employment at

FMS corporation in 2004 after 38 years. He was a loving husband and father, and his

favorite past-time was spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Marie Ann (Daniels) Tveitbakk, his children Orvin

(Laura)Tveitbakk, Christine (Greg) Uhl, Laura (James) Beheba, grandchildren Cassidy

Tveitbakk, Tyler Uhl, Halie Uhl, Logan Beheba, Victoria Beheba, his sister-in-law, Janice

Tveitbakk, sister-in-law Rosemary (Randy) Christinson and brother-in-law Dale (LeeAnn)Gilbertson

and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Halvor and Edith

(Bye) Tveitbakk, his brother Richard Tveitbakk, father and mother in-laws Richard and Anna (Lee) Daniels, sister-in-law Judy Gilbertson, and nephew

Casey Gilbertson.
