MINNETONKA, MN—It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gwyn Rehling Campbell, who died peacefully on October 11, 2025, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park. She was 61 years old.
Gwyn was born in Dickinson, North Dakota, on May 29, 1964, to Victor P. Rehling and Marlys (Gall) Rehling. She was raised in Mandan, North Dakota, where she graduated from Mandan Senior High in 1982. She furthered her education at Interstate Business College in Bismarck before relocating to Minneapolis, where she spent the remainder of her life. Gwyn dedicated her career to the medical industry, where she worked as a medical scheduler.
Known for her love of cooking and music, Gwyn most cherished the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Norton. Her deep, loving spirit and caring nature will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Gwyn is preceded in death by her father, Victor P. Rehling.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Marlys and Thomas Kienzle; her sisters, Vicky Miller (Mark) and Michelle Basile (fiancé Jonathan Mahnken); and her daughters, Nicole Schaner, Alyssa Plaisted (Giovani), and Jayde Campbell. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Maxwell Lyrek and Edleigh Plaisted; her niece, Sarah Yang (Nhoua); her great-nephew and great-niece, Leonard Tatu and Luna Yang; and her nephew Victor Basile. Gwyn is also survived by her former husbands, Curt Schaner (Lane) and Andre Campbell.
A celebration of Gwyn's life will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at MainStreet Bar & Grill, 814 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Bismarck, North Dakota, when she is laid to rest with her father at Fairview Cemetery.
