Greg was the eldest child of six born to Robert and Patricia Snyder in 1949. He graduated from Benilde High School in St. Louis Park, MN in 1967. After high school, Greg enlisted in the US Navy and served on the USS Hector in Vietnam.

After leaving the military, Greg began his life long career in produce. He began by working in the produce department of multiple grocery stores and eventually retired from H. Brooks and Company as the Produce Quality Control Inspector.

Greg is survived by four children, Chris (Jennifer), Misty (Paul), Curtis (Brenda), and Mitchell (Katie); twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; four siblings, Shaun, Gail (Jerry), Mark (Barb), and David; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by his brother, Bradley; granddaughter, Cadence; grandsons, Dominick and Zachary; and brother-in-law, Dana.
