Glenda Fradenburgh, 78, of Alida, Minnesota passed away on June 21, 2022 in New Prague, Minnesota.

Glenda Mae was born on November 10, 1943 in Minneapolis, MN the daughter of Walter A. and Lucy (Ruffcorn) Beckman. Glenda married Bradley E. Schwartz on May 20, 1961 (he died from leukemia in 1973). Together they had 3 children-Bradley, Heidi and Kerry.

On April 11, 1981 Glenda married Don Fradenburgh. There she added 5 stepchildren-Wade, Sue, Cory, Kelly and Jeff. Glenda and Don have lived in Young America, Chaska, Buffalo, then moved to Alida, MN in 1993, after Don’s retirement. They enjoyed wintering in Yuma, AZ for the next 10 years.

Glenda has worked at the following locations in her lifetime: Sears Roebuck and Company, Target Corporation, Young America Corporation and The Toro Company. She was a 4-H leader, Cub Scout den mother, church youth group leader, rode motorcycles for many years and convinced Don to start riding, after they were married.

Glenda enjoyed crafts, puzzles, knitting, crocheting, making jewelry with small beads, sewing and much more. Glenda and Don were a large part of Lake Itasca Pioneer Farmers where they were King and Queen for two years. She was very active in the Alida Free Lutheran Church, and her faith in Jesus is what is comforting her family.

She is survived by her husband Don Fradenburgh of Alida, MN

Memorial Services for Glenda

July 3, 2022

Location: Alida Free Lutheran Church in Alida, Minnesota. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, starting at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Alida Cemetery.
