Glenda Fry Gunderson

Glenda Fry Gunderson, a beloved mother,grand mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, at Birchwood Nursing Home in Forest Lake Minnesota. She was 68 years old. Her passing follows a brave and dignified battle with cancer.

Born on August 4, 1957, in Valdosta, Georgia. She was truly one of a kind, possessing a spirit that was both nurturing and adventurous.

Those who knew Glenda best knew that she was happiest when her hands were busy. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and Harley motorcycles. Glenda was a 1975 graduate from Mahtomedi Sr.high.

Glenda was proceeded in death by her parents, Charles and Jean Fry, her fiancé Bill Cohnen.

Glenda will be lovingly remembered by those she leaves behind. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Tiffany Fry,Tiffany’s significant other, Chuck Huffman and grandson Dustin who was very dear to her. Her memory will also be cherished by her siblings: her brother, Brian Fry, and his wife, Sue; her sister, Mavis Fry, and her husband, Larry; and her sister, Cynthia Hallas, her significant other John; Michelle Moore and husband Fred. And many nieces and nephews along with great nieces and great nephews; and many cousins.

As a woman of Christian faith, Glenda held to her beliefs with a quiet confidence. Her family finds comfort in the knowledge that she has found lasting peace and rest.

Glenda’s celebration of life will be held at Maranatha Church, June 4th at 10am.
