The One and Only Ms. Gina Renee Jackson-Powell

Gina was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1964 to Ms. Patricia Ann Jackson and she grew up in the West End neighborhood of the city in the Lincoln Courts Housing Project.

She attended and graduated from George W. Hays Elementary School, Jeannie D. Porter Junior High School and Robert A. Taft High School (Class of 1983).

She would go on to attend Ohio State University majoring in Fashion Design. Eventually, she would go on to work at a number of Fortune 500 companies, including American Express and Wells Fargo.

Although, Gina leaves no children behind, she has a niece and many cousins and friends.

Gina loved beauty, fashion and the finer things in life, like home furnishings and décor, fine foods and drinks. She was also a talented artist. Also, she would be the first to tell you that she was a big fan of TV personality Nancy Grace and Nancy's former TV show, contemporary Black literature and Black television shows . Finally, Gina really enjoyed and collected African art and sculpture, which beautifully decorated her home.

We all miss Gina very much!
