George Eugene Morin

February 1, 1937 – August 8, 2026

White Bear Township, MN, USA

George was born in Massena, New York and grew up in Belfast, Maine. He later moved to Minnesota, where he began a long career at 3M. It was in Minnesota that he met Monica Duquaine at the University of Minnesota. They married in 1963 and built their life together, raising their family in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.

Family was at the heart of George’s life. He was a loving husband, dad, and grandfather who was always there to help, teach, fix, and lend a hand. He was a kind and generous man with a naturally helpful spirit and a talent for solving just about any problem that came his way.

George loved being outdoors. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, sailing, and taking on projects around the house. He also loved to play and have fun, especially with his family. Those everyday moments—working, playing, laughing, and simply being together—are among the memories we will treasure most.

George is survived by his wife, Monica, his children Sarah (Paul) Sevcik, Joe (Wendi), and Ed, and his grandchildren Emily and Laura Sevcik.

In honor of George’s wishes there will be no funeral service.

We will miss his kindness, his willingness to help, his sense of humor, and the many ways he made himself part of our everyday lives. We are grateful for the years we had with him and for the memories that will stay with us always.
