George Donaldson

In Loving Memory

George was a man of very few words, however when he spoke you listened. His wit and sense of humor were unmatched.

George had a great love for sports and hardly missed a chance at cheering on his nieces and nephews at their sporting events. He loved to fish, go on trips up north and adventures with Mae. He took on the art of woodworking , taking great pride in creating and building unique rocking chairs for his great-nieces and nephews. He was a founding member of Supernatural Investigators of Minnesota. He devoted his working career to North Hennepin Community College .

George was born to George and Lorraine Donaldson on Jan 13,1950. He married the angel of his eye Mae Kelley on Nov. 19, 2005. He passed peacefully on Aug. 31, 2022 after a short battle with cancer.

George was preceded in death by his parents and sister Holly. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Mae; sister Sandy; brother Irv (Chris); sister-in-laws Nora (Dale); Jean; brother-in-laws Archie (Patty); Loren; Malcolm (Jeni); many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 pm, Sun Sept. 25 at Sgt Johns VFW, 1374 109th Ave, Blaine, MN 55434. Please dress in bright colorful attire.
