Gene Delsing

Gene Patrick Delsing, 61, of Roseville, MN but in his heart, his home was always White Bear Lake, passed away on August 27, 2025 surrounded by family and friends.

Gene was born on January 21, 1964 to Eugene and Ann Delsing in St. Paul, MN. He graduated from Johnson High School and St. Paul TVI for welding. Gene retired from Mork Services in May 2018 after many years working in the semi-trailer industry.

Gene is survived and missed by his loving wife, Rose Hanson; and his sisters René McMonigal (Mike) and Lynda Nelson (Steve); and sister-in-law Bobbi Delsing (Tom). Gene is preceded in death by his brothers Tom and Mike and sister-in-law Kathy. He was greatly loved and will be forever missed by his entire family including many nieces, nephews, friends and his rescue cat, Mandu.

Gene loved all things “ing”: he loved hiking, biking, snorkeling, camping, fixing (things), laughing, exploring and especially traveling. Gene and Rose had many, many adventures. Summers were spent camping and fishing along the Gunflint Trail and winter vacations were spent in the Caribbean snorkeling, often on St. John USVI. Gene could be exasperating at times but kept Rose laughing every day for 35 years.
