Father, Brother and Friend to all that would accept him

With a heavy heart, we are sharing the passing of Gary Arvid Buisman (62) on 2 September 2023. While at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, with his siblings at his side, Gary peacefully passed from acute respiratory distress syndrome. Gary was born on 27 March 1961 in Rush City, Minnesota, and grew up in Harris, Minnesota.

Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Orva Ann Buisman née Smedsrud, and Gerald Dale Buisman.

He is survived by his daughter Sarah Beth Anderson née Herman (Nathaniel) of St. Cloud, MN. Brother Dale Ray Buisman (Luz) of Maple Grove, MN. Sisters Carol Helen Piel (Mark) of Harris, MN, and Dawn Ann Sederberg (Cary) of North Branch, MN. 5 nephews and 3 nieces, as well as 3 great nephews and 11 great nieces.

He was actively involved in the church of Christ at New Hope and Pine City.

His life had many ups and downs. Regardless, he's always cared deeply for others, as shown by how many people he connected with. He loved his job volunteering at Cambridge Medical Center, sharing his compassion and talents with patients and staff alike. He shared his joy for music with all of those in his life. Most important to Gary was his faith in his savior, Jesus Christ
