life story
A loving Mother, grandmother, and sister
Gail was a gentle soul who wore her heart on her sleeve. She always put others before herself. She was a quiet angel who will be missed by so many.
A Quiet Kind of Love
Our mom was a quiet woman, the kind of person who didn't need to fill a room with words to be noticed. Her presence was gentle, steady and comforting-like something you didn't realize how much you needed until you stopped and felt it.
She was always by dad's side, especially at his sporting events. Whether it was a small local game or something bigger, she was there--watching, supporting and sharing in those moments simply by being present. She didn't need to be the loudest cheerer. Just being there was her way of loving.
Some of her happiest times were spent with her friends from the Sunshine Depot. She truly enjoyed visiting with them--laughing, talking and sharing pieces of everyday life. Those friendships meant a lot to her, and you could see how comfortable and happy she was in their company.
Mom didn't need a lot to be happy. She found joy in people, in routine and little things that others might overlook. In her quiet way, she taught me something important--that love doesn't have to be loud to be strong.
Even now, we carry that with us.
