Frederick John Hald

Passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on June 23, 2022, age 71. Fred grew up in St. Paul’s East Side and graduated from Harding High School. He loved to travel, explore the great outdoors, spend time with family and friends, watch John Wayne movies, any food, but his passion was music. Fred learned to play guitar at a young age which drove his desire to become musician and singer with a variety of bands throughout Twin Cities. He also worked in commercial construction until retirement. Preceded in death by parents, Harold and Joyce Hald and sister Nancy Hald Ozawa. Survived by brother Jim Hald, sister Barbara Hald; daughter Nicole Hald Gresczyk (Rick); stepdaughter Lisa Hald Rogers; niece Marin Ozawa Garcia (Esteban); granddaughters, Tyla, Charlotte and Elizabeth; long time friend/companion, Linda Haselman; special friends Bob, Fritz and Keenan.
