Frank Nicholas Marti

life story

Beloved father, grandfather, brother & friend

Forever in our hearts.

Frank "Bud" Nicholas Marti

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Frank in his home, surrounded by his children and grandson, on May 23, 2024 at the age of 80. Frank "Bud" owned & operated Bud's TV in Mankato for many years, and finished his working career at Zytec in Redwood Falls as the lead PRC technician. Frank enjoyed nature & often visited Minnesota state parks, he loved animals, fishing & camping with his family, deer hunting with his group, bike riding, family gatherings, cooking & baking, armchair travel, and home renovations, which he had a talent for and skills & experience from the several houses he owned over the years. Frank's greatest joy was his family, most especially his grandson, and we all thrived from the love he showed us. He was kind, firm, capable, hard working, wise, supportive, and empathetic. He loved a good cup of coffee, music, spending time with the kitties, and he enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings, but his favorite past-time was to spend all the time he could loving and teaching his grandson all about life, and being "Gramps". He is survived by his son Brian (Stacey) Marti, his daughter Denise Marti, and his grandson Noah Garay and many other relatives and dear friends.
