Frances W. Wold, 85, of Bemidji, MN passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 in the care of Colleen’s Caring Hands in Bemidji, MN.

Frances Willard Wold was born March 10, 1939 in Bemidji, MN, the daughter of Jon and Lillian Wold. Her early years were spent on the family farm in Port Hope Township. Fran attended the Lab School on the campus of Bemidji Teachers College and graduated from Bemidji High School.

Fran lived and worked in Minneapolis for several years. She later moved to Alaska and resided there for 40 years until she moved back to Minnesota in 2020.

Fran was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her brothers, Ken (Bonnie) Wold, Dave (Vianne) Wold and Jim (Bobbie) Wold along with nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Colleen’s Caring Hands for the excellent, loving care that was given Fran.
