Frances Louise Serenity Kuhn, 78, of Nevis, MN former Peoria, IL resident passed away on Tuesday, Oct.17, 2023 at CHI St. Joseph's Hospital in Park Rapids, MN.

Frances was born on June 19, 1945 in Peoria, IL the daughter of Leonard and Elma (Maddox) Matthews. She grew up and attended school in Dunlap, IL graduating from high school in 1963. She worked in manufacturing at Caterpillar Tractor Co. for eleven years. She enjoyed selling collectibles online and attending car shows with her husband, Bob. She is also a former resident of Troy, MS and Fairfield Glade, TN.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Kuhn of Nevis, MN; her 3 step-children, Chris Long of Troy, MO; Carl Kuhn of Moyock, NC; Shari Hamilton of Creve Coeur, IL; and brother, Philip Matthews of Brimfield, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Matthews and Elma Bundy; step-father Robert Bundy; husband, James Long; sister, Donna Israel; and step-sister, Lora Dorn.
