France Garoute Zéphir passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on June 21, 2026 in Columbia Heights, MN.

France was born in Jérémie, Haiti and moved to Minnesota in 2018. She is preceeded in death by her spouse Sylla Zéphir, her daughters Flore and Marjorie, her son Emmanuel, and her siblings Serge and Gisèle.

She is survived by her daughter Dominique Zéphir and spouse Roland Amoussouga; her son Kalil Zéphir; her grandchildren Ambre Michel and spouse Terrence Floyd, Rolik Amoussouga, Keyla, Kara and Kori-Ann Zéphir;

her nieces and nephew; extended family members and friends who were blessed to know her.

France’s cremation will take place at Crescent Tide Cremation Services in St. Paul, MN.
