Eunice Virginia “Ginger” Smith, 70, passed away on January 2, 2026, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She was born on January 13, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan.

Known to everyone as Ginger, Eunice had a warm heart, a strong spirit, and a way of making people feel at ease. She valued her family deeply.

Ginger was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas Smith and Lucille “Nancy” (Corbeil) Smith, as well as her siblings, Carolyn “Dolly” (Smith) Kupari and Paul Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Fallon Smith; her grandsons, Dillon Rogalski and Grayson Andrews; her brother, Randy (Marlee) Smith; and many nieces and nephews who loved her and will miss her.

Ginger didn’t want a formal service. Instead, family is considering a lighthearted get-together in the coming months to share stories, laughs, and remember her in a way she would have appreciated; with pizza and a glass of Merlot.

She will be missed, remembered, and carried forward in the stories and love she leaves behind.
