When tomorrow starts without me,

and I'm not here to see,

Eugene L Rautio

Gene (Bobo) Rautio of Duluth MN passed peacefully Friday September 17, 2021 at the age of 65 at Fairview Hospital University of MN. Born in Grand Rapids, MN on July 24, 1956 to Clarence W Rautio of Floodwood, MN and Jean H Mickelson (Williams) of Englewood, NJ. He enjoyed spending most of his time driving his big rig and making new friends. He went to school in Floodwood, MN until joining the Army in October 1973 until October of 1976. Gene enjoyed playing pool and spending time with family and friends on his off times.

Gene was preceded in death by his mother Jean (Ray) Mickelson, and Son Josiah Michael Rautio.

He is survived by his wife Laurie Rautio of Duluth, MN;

former wife Angela (Mark) Booth of Superior, WI; father Clarence (Nancy) Rautio of Floodwood, MN;

sister Jennifer (Dean) Broten of Saginaw, MN; sister Jessica Greer of Culver, MN; sister Jamie (Bernie) Jackson of Duluth, MN; daughter Stephanie Breitzmann of Superior, WI;

son Benjamin (Sundus) Rautio of Colorado Springs, CO; son Jay (Hali) Johns of Hermantown, MN; son Jeremy (Zoe) Rautio of Saint Paul, MN; daughter Nicole Rautio of Duluth, MN;

grandchildren: Caden, Mila and Ariel; Nieces, Nephews, Aunts & Uncles.

There will be a Celebration of Life on June 25, 2022, Location to be announced.
