About Ethel

Ethel Singer, 94 of Fort Lee, New Jersey passed away in her home on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Angela Herrara, her loving caregiver, was by her side. Ethel was born in Philadelphia, Pa. to Anna and Samuel Shapiro who had three daughters, Florence, and identical twins Ethel and Ruth. Ethel is survived by her twin sister, Ruth Katrman; her daughter, Leslie Sheryll, her son-in-law Chuck Kelton, and grandson, Zane Kelton; her son Richard Sheryll and daughter-in-law, Andrea Sheryll; step-daughter Joan Lishman. Her husbands, Sy Sheryll, Bernard Hoffman, and Harold Singer, preceded Ethel. Ethel had a successful business, All Tickets Inc. which she founded with her friend and business partner Ruth Hass in Fort Lee, New Jersey. Ethel had a vibrant, full life spent traveling around the globe, she loved spending time at her country home in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and her home in Fort Lee, New Jersey. She most loved being surrounded by family and friends. She is deeply missed.
