Age 78, of Woodbury Preceded in death by beloved husband, David; infant brother, Donny; grandson, Austin. Survived by daughters, Aurelie Malm and Cynthia Dornhaus; grandson, Alexander Malm. A serious scholar, Ethel studied Chemistry and Mathematics at USD, where she met her lifetime lab partner, Dave. While not planning a career as homemaker, she characteristically embraced her role with verve. Similarly, when she learned the truth about God from the Bible, she transformed her life, spending the majority of her remaining years in the full-time ministry as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Ethel was brilliant, quick witted, loyal, and always kept her word. Never sentimental, she was a very loving person and cared deeply for the concerns of others.
