About Estelle

Estelle Cora Knox, born on January 2, 1962, to John William Tilson and Carol Ann Faulk at Harlem Hospital Center in Harlem, New York, peacefully transitioned on February 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 63 years old.

Estelle was raised in Jamaica, Queens, New York, by William and Carol Faulk. Estelle grew up in a close-knit family that instilled in her the values of hard work and perseverance. She attended St. Pius Catholic School and later pursued further education, enrolling in various computer and word processing courses.

In 1986, Estelle moved to St. Paul, Minnesota, where she worked in a variety of roles, from food service to facilities and groundskeeping, always approaching each job with dedication and a positive attitude. Her strong work ethic and determination touched everyone she worked with.

Estelle survived by her daughter, Robyn King, and son, Demetrius Chester. She was a cherished grandmother to four grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her three brothers, Noel, William, and Michael, who were a constant source of love and joy throughout her life.

Estelle's peaceful passing marks the end of a life filled with love, hard work, and devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and strength will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all those fortunate enough to have shared in her life.
