It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ellen Kay Pedersen on December 23, 2024, at the age of 64.

Born on June 2, 1960, Ellen was a loving mother, sister, and friend. Despite the struggles she faced, her love for her family never wavered. Her journey, though difficult at times, was one of perseverance, and her spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

Ellen is survived by her two children, Dominick Pedersen (and his wife Jamie) and Jack Sarff. She is also survived by her sisters, Susie Bullock (and her husband Dan) and Bonnie Hogan (and her husband Jim). Her grandchildren, Emmy and Owen, and many nieces and nephews, including Dana (and her husband Ben and children Bowen and Addie), Lindsey (and her son Drew), Daryl (and his son Evan), and Timothy, will always cherish her memory. Ellen will be deeply missed by all who loved her and whose lives she touched.

A private memorial service will be held to honor Ellen’s life this summer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Animal Humane Society.
