Elizabeth (Liz) Eleanor Dunn, 1957 - 2025

Liz Dunn – sister, aunt, friend and teacher – passed away on October 14th in St. Paul, MN. She was born in Mt. Pleasant, IA on October 31, 1957. A graduate of Roosevelt High School in Des Moines, IA, she went on to graduate from Macalester College in St. Paul MN as well as the University of Iowa College of Law in Iowa City, IA. Liz went on to practice law but found her calling as a teacher in the St. Paul public schools. Throughout her life, Liz was passionate about the arts. She served as Managing Director for CitySongs Youth Choir, and as a member of the Arts in Education Organizational Support advisory panel. She loved to sing and had an insatiable interest in current events. She loved her family and celebrated her friends who were a great source of support and pleasure for her.

Liz is survived by her brothers Ray (Mary Beth) and Joe (Gloria), nephews and grand-nephews Eric, Peter, Dominique, Marty, Ray and Casey, and nieces and grand-nieces Emily, Polly, Bo, Noa and Bibi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Donald Dunn. Her brother Paul died shortly after her.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2pm CST on Tuesday, November 11th at Edgcumbe Presbyterian Church, 2149 Edgcumbe Road, St. Paul, MN. The service will also be streamed on Zoom with the Zoom link available November 11th on the church's homepage https://epchurch.org/.
