Elizabeth Ann Krienke, 84, of Mizpah, Minnesota passed away on March 22, 2023 at the Sanford Fargo Hospice House in Fargo, ND.

Elizabeth was born on November 18, 1938 in Minnetrista, Minnesota, the daughter of Frank and Isabel (Stein) Blackowiak. She grew up and was raised in Mound, MN graduating from Mound High School.

She then worked for General Mills for a few years. She was a wonderful homemaker and mother, raising 5 children. She was co-owner and manager of a construction company in Delano, MN for many years.

She moved to the Northome, MN area in 1979 where she co-owned and managed Moose Camp Resort on Moose Lake near Northome. She also owned and operated the Northome Café and a Café in Mizpah. She was a mentor and helpful to as many family and friends as she could. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, casinos, cooking and liked organizing and doing bookkeeping helping anyone out when needed. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Elizabeth is survived by 4 children, Kenneth (Ann) Krienke, Jr. of Browns Valley, MN, Keith (Vicky) Krienke, Sr. of Monticello, Kristine (Patrick) Dreher of Tenstrike, MN, and Kevin (Cassie) Krienke of Mizpah, MN; longtime companion, Elden Eklin of Mizpah, MN; 13 grandchildren, Kenneth, III (Sarah), Kurt (Anna), Amanda, Joyelle (Mike), Keith, Jr. (Molly), Kory (Carrie), Jerry, Jr., Johnnie (Winter), Kristopher, Alissa (Luke), Ashley (Mike), Alexandra (Kane) and Kiarra (Jose); numerous great and great-great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Frank (Faye) Blackowiak and Richard (Renee) Blackowiak; sister, Mary Jane (Larry) McKay; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kim Hanson; her parents; and a great granddaughter, Kassandra.

Rev. Jeremy Bock will be officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held following the funeral at the Mizpah Community Center in Mizpah, MN. Interment will take place at the Mizpah Cemetery in Mizpah, MN at a later date.
