Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and most recently Great-grandfather

Edwin "Ed" Stevens passed away on December 25, 2025 at the age of 90.

Ed was a lifetime member of his local carpenters union. He spent most of his career in construction with KA of St. Paul.

Ed loved his home in Oakdale, where he lived for over 64 years, and his cabin in Wisconsin. He loved spending time with family and friends both at home and at the cabin.

He was a great outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his ATV.

He was an avid sports fan and loved cheering for the Twins, Vikings, and Gophers.

Ed is survived by his daughter, Shelley Stevens; son, Scott (Susan) Stevens; grandchildren, Amanda (Noah) Hackett, and Andrew Stevens; great-grandson, Wilmer Edwin Hackett; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 63 years, Marlene; his parents, Lyman and Ruth Stevens; and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy (Pat) Stevens, Ronald (Elsie) Stevens, and James Stevens.

Ed was a good, kind, and generous man who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Funeral Service will be held at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 4th St. N, Oakdale, MN 55128 on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:30 a.m. Luncheon to follow.
