He was a former member of both Konetz M.C. and Sons of Silence M.C. Ed loved his wife, his kids, grandkids, family, club brothers and his dogs. Edward Rodewald Edward Charles Rodewald, age 72 of Grand Marais, Mn, died Monday September 14th, 2026, at his home. Ed, the son of Donald and Marion (Molloy) Rodewald, was born December 16, 1953 in Minneapolis, Mn. Ed graduated from Northfield High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife Cheryl, his children; Nicole Rodewald (Aaron Sepin), Dani Jo Rodewald, Sara Tate, Nichole Tate-Roberts (Zach Roberts). His grandchildren Lindsey, Cage, Kira, Jolyt, Nichalas, Christian Rodewald; Amana Garrett, Hannah and Hallie Sepin, Carter Anderson, Erica, Ethan and Ciara Tate; 13 great grandchildren, his beloved dogs Chartee and Buster; and brother Butch (Chris) Redy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Christopher Rodewald. Ed lived fast, played hard and loved us all deeply. He was a fierce protector of those he loved. Burial and celebration of life will take place in Faribault, Mn. in the Spring of 2027. The family would like to thank friends, neighbors, doctors, nurses, hospital staff and ambulance crew for all of your help with Ed during his last few years.
